How Much does a Tummy Tuck Cost?

Image Plastic Surgery of New Jersey Takes the Worry Out of Abdominoplasty's Cost

Many women avoid gathering all the facts on tummy tucks or abdominoplasties because they are concerned about tummy tuck cost. The problem is that, despite having reconstructive aspects, insurance will rarely, if ever, cover the abdominoplasty cost. In addition, many women who strongly desire a tummy tuck are struggling financially with young children or single-parent issues. We at Image Plastic Surgery feel that women in these positions should not give up on surgery just because of the abdominoplasty cost. This is why Image Plastic Surgery developed the TAP program. This allows women the freedom to explore their options without having to worry about "how much does a tummy tuck cost." The TAP (Tummy-tuck Assisted Pay) Program aims to provide board certified plastic surgery care at a specially discounted tummy tuck cost. Note that no other procedures at Image Plastic Surgery are discounted in a similar fashion.

Tummy tucks (abdominoplasties) are a special type of surgery. While the operation is a cosmetic procedure in many ways, it does also have many reconstructive traits. Many women find that after having children, their abdomen is simply not the Abdominoplasty | Tummy Tuck Cost | New Jerseysame as it was before. Women and men find that after a surgical procedure, their abdominal muscles and tone are ruined and that exercise alone will not return their previous appearance. This finding is not just imagination. During a pregnancy the muscles and surrounding strong ligaments of the abdomen can become stretched and cannot be brought back together with exercise. The skin can also become pulled with many stretch marks that resist fading despite exercise and skin care. In many cases the only good treatment is to surgically pull the muscles back together and remove the extra skin and stretch marks with a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) operation.

The problem is that, despite having a reconstructive aspect, insurance will rarely, if ever, cover a tummy tuck operation. In addition, many women who strongly desire a tummy tuck are struggling financially with young children or single-parent issues. This is why Image Plastic Surgery developed the TAP program. The TAP (Tummy-tuck Assisted Pay) Program aims to provide board certified plastic surgery care at a specially discounted price. Note that no other procedures at Image Plastic Surgery are discounted in a similar fashion.

To use the program you must first be seen by Dr. Martin Moskovitz in a formal consultation. If you are a good candidate for the surgery, you must then be able to schedule surgery under short notice, usually 7-14 days, for a time when Dr. Moskovitz finds that he has an unexpected opening in his schedule. By fitting in to this situation, the surgical fee will be reduced by roughly 50% and the total surgical bill -- including overnight hospitalization, operating room charges, anesthesia, and surgeon fees -- will then cost approximately $8,000 total.

If you are interested in the TAP Program please contact us by email or set an appointment by calling the office.

We look forward to helping you.
